At Sprung Forward, we are committed to sharing our love for figure skating with children who may not have had the chance to glide on the ice before, especially those facing financial barriers to enjoy this incredible sport. Drawing from our personal experiences, we've seen how skating has positively impacted our growth in various aspects, and we are eager to pass on that sense of empowerment!

What we do
FREE SKATING SESSIONS
We offer complimentary skating sessions during the school year, including rental skates and supporting materials. We are honored to have a partnership with the Club Olympique de Courbevoie, and all sessions take place at their rink.
COLLECT & DISTRIBUTE GENTLY USED SKATING GEAR
We collect gently used skates or blades, skating dresses, and training wear. All items are reconditioned before distributing to children who need them.
CHARITY ICE SHOW
SprungForward is thrilled to present our annual ice show, "Gliding Towards Hope," dedicated to raising funds for the 'Handi'Chien' association (https://handichiens.org/)

Sophie Sprung
Founder
Sophie is a four-time French national champion in her respected age category, she represents France in international competitions. She is also deeply passionate about subjects like math, biology, Shakespeare, and even thrifting ;-)
Hannah Sprung
Founder
Hannah is National 1 level skater since the age of 8. She has stood on the podium three times at the French national championships and has been in the top 10 for 9 consecutive years in her respective age category. She also has a passion for art, and is an avid ailurophile (look it up!).
Jean-Christophe Mbonyinshuti
Technical Advisor
Jean-Christophe brings over 30 years of coaching experience in France. At the Club Opympique de Courbevoie, he adeptly leads Club Loisirs and the sport-études programs. In addition to his passion for coaching, Jean-Christophe enjoys indulging in golfing and cinema 💛
